Two States in Lemon Chillo

Hola everyone! Hope you all are enjoying the spring months with all zeal? If not, wait for more bloom! ;)

Well, you might have got some idea from the title of this post that I'll be showcasing 'two looks' today; in association with LEMON CHILLO, a women's western wear brand offering a 'dash-of-lime' freshness in its designs. So, they sent me a pretty, colorful leaf printed maxi top and I being a lover of comfortable fashion chose to display two different looks using the same top that one can wear at different occasions. Take a look at both the looks below....

Look 1 - Contemporary Plush

top : Lemon Chillo | leggings : Yepme.com | footwear : Steve Madden | belt : Jabong
necklace, bracelet, ring : Privi Accessories | earrings : Accessorize

The first look that I've created with this high-low maxi top from Lemon Chillo is more of an urban, sophisticated trend that has an appealing appearance of its own. I teamed up the top with a pair of tangerine, high waist leggings that matches the multi color print (also having orange as one of them) on the top. Buttoned it up till the neck and secured the mid closing with a tangerine belt to give the whole look a structure, parting it rightly at the waist, to give a sleek fall beneath!

Since I created this attire keeping in mind a party look with all the vibrancy available, I completed it by adding some chunky jewellery pieces from one of my personal favorite online fashion jewellery stores, PRIVI ACCESSORIES (that sells through instagram only). The cream & magenta statement necklace, the gold plated-clear stone bracelet and the stone ring gave the much needed shimmer to the whole look and matched the pink stone earrings that I got from Accessorize as well. Keeping it all classy and posh, I chose to add my rose-gold heels in my feet and I was all done for this one!

Look 2 - The Roma Gyppo

shirt dress : Lemon Chillo | footwear : Hill Road (Mumbai) | belt : Jabong
necklace, silver metal bracelet : Shopnineteen.com
earrings, multi color bracelet, ring, anklets : Privi Accessories

Let me just break it to you that this second look I've created with the maxi top from Lemon Chillo is inspired by the Romanis of the Europe, originated from Northern India. Well, you must have already understood that by looking at my distinctive hairdo, but still I just wanted to let you know in detail. Now, coming to the semblance, I chose to wear the maxi top as a shirt dress since it looked pretty RAD to me. I knotted the flowy fabric ends of the dress to decline the drop, secured the mid rift with a belt looking like a waist band and buttoned up like a shirt completely to add some bohemian accessories that looked remarkable with all the subdued prints on the dress!

Everything artistic looks good to me and I like experimenting with my looks too, so for this one, I added a gypsy necklace with gold spikes on a turquoise block and a double silver cord from Shopnineteen, that matched the oxidised gold earrings that I got from Privi Accessories. Wore a heavy metallic bracelet on one hand, along with a multi color one on the other, and added a bronze ring in one finger only to balance the over all vibe. Also, chose to put on a pair of unconventional metallic anklets in each ankle with my flat, turquoise bellies to step out in vogue! Just to say, this look can unapologetically be worn at fashion weeks, or events that are a fashionably casual!

Summer Party with The Souled Store

Hey fellas! Rolling in the summer heat? Way too hot man I swear, the curse!

Chillin' at home, cooking green salad for meals for the entire day is what I've been doing past three days, leaving one evening aside when I had pizza, because hey that's BAE! Anyway, its a new day and like I promised I'd be regular with my posts from now, so leaving food aside for a bit, let's talk of fad.

THE SOULED STORE, an online marketplace that offers a variety of awesome products including cool printed t-shirts, funny boxers, unconventional posters, awesome bags and a lot more quirky stuff; sent me a few products to style, and this time I chose to go out of my comfort zone because I love taking fashion risks, and always have did, since school (If my friends are reading this, they're probably recalling all the times they wanted to punch me in my face for embarrassing them while I posed along for a picture, looking shabby AF! But I hope no more :P) and unapologetically shoot the following look and share it with y'all.!

t-shirt, bag : The Souled Store | poncho : Janpath (Hazratganj, Lucknow) | boots : Mochi
ring, earrings : Privi Accessories | bracelets : Local Stall

Well, its getting hotter everyday, and when I think of classic summer wardrobe pieces, the first thing that comes to my mind is t-shirts. I mean it's just so versatile. You can layer it up, wear it with jeans, skirt, pants, leggings and even WEAR IT AS A DRESS! The comfort of a tee + a mini dress, that's what an over size t-shirt does for you when you're picking a day party outfit! This red, quirky tee from The Souled Store that had 'Grammar Nazi' written on it, came in a size that was just too long to wear with a pair of jeans. I chose to throw it upon myself impromptu like a frock and layer it up with a crochet-sequin poncho to give some shimmer, that I bought almost 12 years back with my sister from a local shop in Hazratganj. I'm sorry but I really don't know if and where you'll get something so chic now a days!

The t-shirt being long enough for me to wear it as a dress, totally worked. And to complete the look, I wore a pair of dark grey ankle boots, stacked a few monochrome bracelets in one hand to keep the swag on, a multi pearl ring on the other and wore my recent favorite dangler earrings in bronze, from an instagram store called Privi Accessories, to tone down the overall vibe; and of course tied my hair into a pony to beat the heat like a pro! Lastly, carried a red tote bag that has a half pizza made on it, wait, hello, pizza....like pizzaaaaaaa!!! This bag is my favorite(est) and is so spacious and so comfortable to carry too, the best of summer bags I've ever owned. So funky, from The Souled Store!

I really hope you liked this quick summer look. If you did, do try it and drop a comment below when you do, or just mail me a picture of yours so that I can see what experiments more could we do with tee as dresses! Also, you can now FOLLOW ME on Snapchat (username : shubhigarg04) and Instagram to keep in touch with me 24x7. Yayy!! :)

One Awadh Center Mall + Lifestyle Store Launch

Lucknow, the city of the Nawabs has always been traditional, elegant and deeply rooted in its rich history. But the new side to the city is as decorous as well; the side which is modern, buzzing and fast developing into a socio-economic hub. ONE AWADH CENTER, the lavish mall, owned by the leading player in the real estate development - Halwasiya Group, is situated in the posh Gomti Nagar area of the city. It opened its gates for public, officially on the 13th of April, 2016 and it is nothing less than a landmark for its style and splendor! This mall enjoys an immense location advantage, which in the past-few years, has emerged as the new central business, residential and shopping district.

One Awadh Center is contemporary in design and stylish in built. It has Automated Building Management systems to make the whole structure energy efficient and environment friendly. Features like central air-conditioning, power backup, high level security provided by CCTV cameras, advanced fire detection and fire fighting provision in all common areas & basements and multi-level parking complete it as a truly modern commercial complex!

As a city resident and having a lure for fashion, I have been always been disappointed with Lucknow depriving us of all major fashion brands in town. But to my satisfaction, LIFESTYLE launched its first store in Lucknow (and 50th store across the country), at One Awadh Center on the 13th of April, 2016. And, I had this opportunity to attend the store opening along with a few blogger friends of mine, Poorvi and Sumbul, who of course were a great company!

OOTD details

 top : StalkBuyLove | pants : Pantaloons | heels : Dorothy Perkins | bag : Glitstreet.com
watch : Diamante | necklace : Old Buy

From L-R : Me, Sumbul Siddiqui (Style - Bon), Poorvi Naithani (Shades Of Jade)

I'm quickly gonna take you through the brand sections (floor wise) as displayed at the store. Starting with the ground floor, we had all kinds of basic women wear. Ranging from casual to formal, to chic and party wears, there are just way too many brands to choose from! Some of my favorites were : CODE, UCB, AND, Fame Forever, Ginger, Calvin Klein and Bossini.

Code

Ginger

United Colors of Benetton (UCB)

Fame Forever

Calvin Klein Jeans

We encountered our favorite make-up brands in the opposite side sections along with the watch sections on the ground floor itself and were flawed by the counters at the first glance! Some of the best were : Colorbar, Maybelline, Loreal (in make-up) and Fossil, Timex and Rado (in watches).

Colorbar

Loreal

Maybelline

Timex

The best saved for the last, the accessories section won my heart instantly. Tons and tons of superficial designs. From coin bags, to keychains, to necklaces, rings and bracelets! I couldn't resist trying out most of the stuff on myself, glaring in the mirror and flaunting like a pro. Ah! Oh, and also there was a little lingerie section just right beside the accessories display, but it was in such a hidden corner that I only noticed it when one of my co-bloggers pointed it out to me, when we were at the billing counter. Like, damn!

Coming to the 1st floor, the men's section. I almost adored every bit of clothing on this floor, because of how me it was! If you know me well, you know I'm more of a comfort over fashion types and what better than men's tees would suit me best?! Just breaking it you, I actually picked more stuff for myself from this floor rather than any of the women's section. Oh, that should not sound wrong though! :P Check out the brands available, in the pictures below :

Louis Phillipe

Kappa

Being Human

Colorplus

All Denim

The 2nd and the last of the Lifestyle Store floors, women's ethnic section. This floor also has bags, women's footwear and kids clothing section! All brands shown in the pictures below :

Biba

Glbal Desi and 'W'

Melange

Party Footwear

Sleepers

Clutches

Bags

Kids Section

Let me just take a moment to unfurl my love towards these mannequins displayed at Lifestyle Store, showcasing their SS/16 collection. It looks truly amazing!

Well, we ended our short store tour of Lifestyle at the billing counter, redeeming our gift vouchers; and I simply loved picking up stuff for myself after spending almost 3 hours checking out what all to buy! An outfit post showcasing all my shopping will be up under the fashion category on this blog super soon, so stay tuned for that!

-----------------------------------

One Awadh center being a posh mall in town, has a lot of top fashion labels and retail brands pouring in. One of them is Lifestyle and the other one that opened on the same day is MAX Fashions (on the 1st floor). Well, doesn't it already sounds like this will make the place a shopper's paradise?!

An eight-screen megaplex - the city's first, by CINEPOLIS has started impressing everyone with a truly international cinematic experience. Well, the part that thrilled me more was that Lucknow finally has some of the best recliner seating in the theatres and we can almost get some comfy, home like feels! Also, some of the finest cafes (like COFFEE TREE; as in the picture below) and multi-cuisine restaurants are coming up at the mall that will delight craving taste buds.

Let's be very frank, as the city is progressing, so are the people! One Awadh Center should now be your first-choice shopping and entertainment destination because it's not just another shopping address, but a celebrated social hotspot too!
